Intro

To live up to "Enter Once, Use Many Times," the following units have enabled the Digital Measures Web Profiles module. This will allow faculty in those units to display information entered in their Digital Measures profile on your public web profile. For specific instructions on how to do this by unit website, use the following respective links:

As of 5-1-2019 the following DM screens can display data on your web profile:

  • Awards and Honors
  • Publications and Intellectual Contributions
Q: How do I hide some of my DM records from my web profile?

By default, all records entered into your DM profile will be shown on your public web profile once you opt-in. Notice the “Allow Sharing” column on eligible screens. By changing an individual record to, “No,” you can prevent specific records from displaying on your web profile.  Changing a record to "No" will not affect any other Digital Measures-based reporting.

You can turn sharing off on any record to keep it from displaying on your web profile without affecting any of your regular DM reports or outputs.

Q: Why doesn't a new entry in my DM profile display on my web profile?

Information entered into your DM profile is cached and presented to OSU every 12 hours. Your OSU web profile will automatically update when the cache is next updated.

Q: Who decided which DM screens to show on my web profile?

The selection of screens to enable with the Web-Profile Module is typically based on discussion and feedback between faculty in your unit and your communications and web teams.
